Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using gocrd ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. The Service is operated by S Raja Murugan, an individual based in Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu, India.

2. Description of Service

gocrd is a personal life management platform that allows users to track finances, health records, reminders, projects, software assets, life events, and optionally store encrypted sensitive information. The Service is provided "as is" and may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time.

3. User Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must notify us immediately at hello@gocrd.com of any unauthorised use of your account. gocrd will not be liable for any losses resulting from unauthorised use of your account.

4. Subscription and Payments

gocrd offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis. All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR).

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. gocrd does not store your payment card details. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Refunds are not provided for partial months. You may cancel your subscription at any time and will retain access until the end of your billing period.

5. Sensitive Features

Certain features (such as the Vault, bank account storage, and credit card storage) handle sensitive personal and financial information. These features require explicit consent and are enabled only upon your written request and acceptance of specific risk disclosures.

gocrd uses AES-256 encryption for vault data. Your master PIN is the encryption key. If you forget your PIN, your vault data cannot be recovered. gocrd is not liable for data loss due to forgotten credentials.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to access another user's data
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• Upload malicious files or content
• Use automated tools to abuse the Service
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service without permission

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using gocrd, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

gocrd is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Financial data tracked in gocrd is for personal reference only and does not constitute financial advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, S Raja Murugan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days. After 30 days, all data will be permanently deleted.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice within the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
